Once an admissions application is received in full, students will generally be notified of admission status within 3 weeks. 

Application fees may be paid online by credit card, or by check. Please write checks to “Hindu University of America,” note “Application Fee” in the memo section, and mail to the above address. 

International Students

At *IVHU, we encourage a diverse dialogue, and welcome international students. As *IVHU does not offer a residential program, relocation is not necessary.

Prospective international students should submit all their certified academic transcripts (certified mark sheets) with their application. We encourage you to use the service listed below to certify:

All *IVHU classes are taught in English, and students are expected to participate in English at a level appropriate for their degree program (i.e. at a Master’s level.)

Transfer Student Admission Requirements

Transfer students are welcomed to the *IVHU community. *IVHU admissions and registrar work closely with transfer students to identify qualifying course credits towards their *IVHU degrees. Credit may be granted for previous academic work from other approved institutions when equivalency and relevancy to the curriculum at *IVHU can be verified. The absolute maximum for awarding equivalent credits in this manner is limited to 21 credits at the Master’s degree level. 

This process will be initiated upon acceptance to *IVHU, by close partnership between the student, the previous institution(s), and the appropriate parties at *IVHU: registrar, admissions, the student’s academic advisor, etc.
